Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and repairing production equipment.ResponsibilitiesMonitoring boilers.Repair and maintain production equipment,



both processing and packaging.Troubleshoot equipment failures and breakdowns.Work with scheduled preventive maintenance and work order system.Responsible for mechanical overhaul, shop machines, and tools.Other duties as required.QUALIFICATIONSMust possess a 4th Class Power Engineering Ticket.Industrial mechanic (millwright) is considered a strong asset.Experience in a food processing facility, as well as experience with automatic controls/PLCs, would be an asset.Candidates must be strong independent individuals while possessing the ability to function within a highly integrated team environment.Previous production experience is an asset.Experience or ability to be trained in operating multiple pieces of processing equipment.Demonstrated solid multi-tasking, problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.Safety-focused.Advanced mechanical and technical aptitude.Proven communication and inter-personal skills.Should exhibit initiative, positive attitude, good judgement, diligence, and have an excellent work and attendance record.Schedule – full time rotating 12-hour shifts – evenings and weekends.Salary range – $40.25 start rate.EEO StatementsSaputo is an equal opportunity employer.Saputo supports employment equity and invites candidates from all horizons to join its family.
