About the Role:The Role:Lead Front End DeveloperResponsibilities:Develop web applications using Java, Spring boot, and other open source java frameworks, RESTful web servicesEnterprise level integrations using Distributed streaming platform, REST, OKTA, etc.Front End development using React/Angular and MFE architecturesDatabase development on PostgreSQL, Oracle, and integrations with application servicesApplication containerization, and deployments through CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services like S3, EKS, EC2 etc.Experience writing SQL queries and good understanding of data model, Databricks knowledge is a plus.Experience in deployment using containersGood knowledge about Infrastructure and exposure to CI/CDObservability, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting using Splunk, ELK, Jaeger etc.Prior development on Camunda workflow tool or any other open source workflow tool.Qualifications:Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering or equivalence.Minimum 7 yrs. of engineering experience at least with 1 yrs. of leading the scrum team(s).3+ years hands on experience with related frameworks and technologies (Spring, Restful services, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, MVC, JSP etc.).Experience in design, architect and build microservices based distributed systems in serverless environment (preferred Container platforms)Good understanding on front end technologies like React/Angular/ext JSExperience in Agile and Scrum methodologiesFamiliarity with different data base technologies (like RDBMS, NOSQL) and Data modelingExperience in Automated Unit Testing frameworksExperience in enforcing the Security, Engineering principles along with Quality standards.Experience in trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.Design and maintain application architecture including database schema and API design.Proficiency in the development environment, including IDE, web & application server, GIT, Azure DevOps,
unit-testing tool and defect management toolsknowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, and design patterns.Location:Toronto (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)Compensation/Benefits Information:90k - 135k CAD/year base compensation. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
