In this full-time, temporary position, you'll handle a variety of wildlife care tasks, from rescue to rehabilitation, while training new staff. Required qualifications include two years of relevant experience, knowledge of animal behavior, and strong teamwork skills to ensure an effective wildlife rehabilitation process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wildlife admissions and triage
• Oversee facility hygiene and health protocols
• Train and guide interns and volunteers
• Rescue and transport wildlife as needed
• Document animal care and maintain patient records
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences preferred
• Experience with diverse wildlife species
• Comfortable working outdoors in variable conditions
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Solid communication skills essential
