Great tasting beer means that your favorite bar is cleaning the beer lines regularly. As a Draft Technician, you'll be learning the trade of maintaining draft equipment in bars, restaurants, and offices. On a daily basis, you'll encounter customers that come from a variety of different backgrounds and working on a variety of different systems. Problem solving, teamwork, time management, a positive attitude, and effective communication are qualities that describe who you are.
What will you do?
- Job shadow for the first 4 weeks to learn how to become a service technician.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on a range of draft beer systems and dishwashers.
- Check and maintain cooling decks, inspect motor and pump conditions, and thermostat operations.
- Organize repairs when needed, keeping clear records of the work completed.
- Perform regular maintenance and emergency calls.
- Look for and fix gas leaks on a variety of systems.
The ideal candidate will be :
- Someone who thrives on delighting customers with high-quality service work.
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of both yourself and our customers.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lb. without assistance.
- Mechanically minded and someone who loves solving a puzzle.
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
- No experience is necessary, on job training will be provided.
