Crown Shred & Recycling is a leader in sustainable recycling solutions, and we are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Tech Helper to join our team in our Material Recovery Facility. This position opening is for a shift with hours of 10:00 am - 6:30 pm Tuesday to Saturday. During training, the hours will be 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical equipment in the facility.

- Bearings
- Conveyor belts
- Hydraulically driven parts
- Electric motors
- Other

- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of machinery.

- Assist to troubleshoot mechanical failures, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.





- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year experience as an industrial technician helper, preferably in an industrial or recycling environment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
