Responsibilities

As a Residential Service Plumber, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential plumbing systems while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Your responsibilities include:

- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot plumbing, drainage, water pressure, and water distribution issues.
- Repair and install toilets, faucets, sinks, tubs, showers, shut-off valves, hose bibs, mixing valves, and plumbing fixtures.
- Install, service, and repair conventional and tankless water heaters.
- Diagnose, service, and repair residential boiler and hydronic heating systems.
- Troubleshoot circulator pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, zone valves, controls, and other hydronic components.
- Install and service sump pumps, sewage pumps, battery backup systems, and backwater valves.
- Perform drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, and drain diagnostics.
- Install and service water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, filtration systems, and other water treatment equipment.
- Perform plumbing inspections and identify code or safety deficiencies.
- Complete digital inspection reports with detailed notes and photographs using company software.
- Clearly explain repair and replacement options to homeowners.




- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and truck inventory.
- Follow Alberta Plumbing Code and company safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while treating every customer's home with care and respect.

Required Qualifications

- Residential service plumbing experience.
- Robust troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing and repairing residential plumbing systems.
- Experience servicing residential boiler and hydronic heating systems.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently while managing your workload efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using a tablet to complete digital work orders, inspection reports, photographs, and customer documentation.
- Professional appearance and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are considered strong assets:

- Gasfitter certification (Class B or higher).
- Furnace troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
- Experience servicing tankless water heaters.
- Experience servicing water treatment equipment.
- Experience using sewer camera inspection equipment.
- Experience operating drain cleaning equipment.
- Experience presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners.
- Cross-trade experience in residential HVAC service.

Schedule

- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- On-call rotation as required
