We are looking for a Senior Advisor, Value Chain Performance who will play a key role in driving business success by partnering with leaders to design and implement strategic initiatives, while delivering insightful analysis and guidance to support ongoing operational projects. This role is an excellent opportunity to influence the entire value chain and make a tangible impact on business performance.
As a Senior Advisor, Value Chain Performance, you will not only shape strategic initiatives but also leverage advanced analytics and predictive modeling to drive smarter decisions. You’ll work at the intersection of data, operations, and leadership—partnering with cross‑functional teams, mentoring colleagues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Superintendent Value Chain Performance and working in a collaborative community within local team, you will be performing the following duties:
- Embed safety in all aspects
- Develop and analyze scenarios to assess risks, opportunities, and trade‑offs.
- Provide insights into trends, regulatory changes, and operational constraints.
- Lead the design and development of statistical, predictive models.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large, complex datasets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business data analytics matters.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor progress against integrated plans.
- Coach and mentor across the team.
- Partner with IS&T; and D&T; to oversee the creation and improvement of tools and systems.
- Support key Improvement Life Cycle projects.
- Foster a culture of constant improvements.
- Oversee month‑end across value chain.
- Attend all collaborative forums on site (e.g., L3, L2 meeting, ILC).
What You’ll Bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Relevant Degree in Finance / Engineering or any relevant qualifications
- 5-7 years in production or technical environment at specialist level
- Strong leadership
- IT literacy and a strong aptitude for modelling with Excel and Power BI
- Highly analytical
- Deep understanding of value drivers and ability to drive fact‑based problem solving
- Solid teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written. Rio Tinto is a global company, and the responsibilities of this role require daily collaboration with colleagues, teams, or partners located outside Quebec.

Nous recherchons un(e) Conseiller(ère) sénior, Performance de la chaîne de valeur qui jouera un rôle clé dans la réussite de la compagnie en collaborant avec les leaders pour concevoir et mettre en œuvre des initiatives stratégiques, tout en fournissant des analyses pertinentes et des conseils pour soutenir les projets opérationnels en cours.

Votre contribution
- Un engagement envers la sécurité pour vous-même et votre équipe
- Diplôme pertinent en finance, ingénierie ou autre qualification équivalente
- 5 à 7 ans d’expérience dans un environnement de production ou technique à un niveau spécialisé
- Solides compétences en leadership
- Maîtrise des outils informatiques et excellente aptitude pour la modélisation avec Excel et Power BI
- Forte capacité analytique
- Compréhension approfondie des leviers de valeur et capacité à résoudre des problèmes basés sur les faits
- Excellentes compétences en travail d’équipe, communication et relations interpersonnelles, incluant la capacité à influencer plusieurs parties prenantes
- Maitriser le français et l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit. Rio Tinto est une entreprise mondiale et les fonctions de ce poste exigent une collaboration quotidiennement avec des collègues, des équipes ou des partenaires basés à l’extérieur du Québec
- Permis de conduire valide
