About the role We are thrilled to announce the opening of a team lead position in our Actuarial team! In this role, you will report to a manager and will be responsible for leading a small team of 1–3 actuarial analysts while serving as both technical and project lead. Responsibilities

Contribute to executing key actuarial objectives by actively participating in hands‑on work, providing technical advice to team members, ensuring the quality of their work, and formulating appropriate recommendations to improve the performance of products and services.

Manage the evaluation, development and coaching of team members to achieve the company’s strategic objectives, while creating a highly engaged workforce where employees contribute to the success of the team and company.

Manage team activities by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to company strategies and budget planning.

Represent the actuarial function in various working groups/committees and act as a point of contact with other business units.

Qualifications

University degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

Job‑specific designation: Mathematics, Actuarial Science, FCAS or FCIA an asset.

Minimum of 5 years experience, including 1 year of coaching (major asset).
