Be part of a transformative journey as a Post Majority Worker with Sagkeeng CFS in Winnipeg. This role centers around supporting young adults exiting care, fostering key family and community ties.
At Sagkeeng Child and Family Services, we're searching for dedicated professionals to assist youth up to 25 years old. You will work collaboratively with families to ensure the safety and well-being of young adults transitioning out of care. The position requires creative problem-solving and a strong commitment to cultural practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan transitional support for youth and young adults
• Help establish meaningful family and community connections
• Offer resources for housing and emotional well-being
• Collaborate with internal service providers for support
• Protect confidentiality of all client records
Requirements:
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Child and Family Services
• Class 5 driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Open to cultural guidance and integration
• Compliance with background checks
