Overview As a Senior Product Designer (UX Focus), you will lead the experience strategy and architectural definition for high‑performing squads dedicated to creating human‑led AI experiences and delivering innovative, intuitive digital solutions. You will champion user‑centered design principles, usability standards and inclusive practices across all product development cycles, ensuring every experience is intuitive, accessible and delightful. Your role is to balance functional complexity with seamless usability—translating complex business goals and user needs into compelling user journeys and actionable wireframes. You will facilitate robust cross‑functional partnerships with engineering, product management and research teams, execute user research initiatives to understand user needs deeply and validate design solutions, foster a culture of continuous innovation, psychological safety and bold experimentation, and uphold rigorous usability standards in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Additionally, you will work closely with client partners to ensure UX initiatives align with client business objectives. By nurturing client relationships and promoting design transparency, you will help deliver tangible value, drive business growth and reinforce Saatchi’s reputation as a trusted partner. Focus Areas Lead Experience Architecture: Elevate client experiences by defining the information architecture and logic that showcases Nurun’s design innovation and creative capabilities. Synthesize User Insights: Inform solutions that benefit clients and fuel Nurun’s design R&D by translating raw data into actionable user insights and future assets. Facilitate Technical Alignment: Align design,
tech and product functions to ensure the feasibility and scalable impact of complex user flows across clients and Nurun’s offerings. Prototype & Validate: Rapidly test low‑to‑mid fidelity concepts to drive client transformation and create reusable Nurun design assets and interaction models. Iterate with Data: Apply design performance metrics and usability testing results to deliver outcomes and grow Nurun’s reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Mentor & Elevate Craft: Guide, inspire and peer‑mentor a talented team of designers to deliver exceptional, human‑led AI and digital experiences without direct management duties. Champion UCD: Advocate for user‑centered design principles, usability standards and inclusive design throughout all product development cycles. Foster Innovation: Promote continuous innovation, growth, and encourage experimentation and bold ideas within the design team. Uphold Usability: Establish and uphold rigorous heuristic quality standards, ensuring all solutions are intuitive, accessible and delightful. Translate Requirements: Convert complex business goals and user needs into compelling design visions, user flows and actionable roadmaps for your product team. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with engineering, product management and research partners to deliver impactful, high‑quality solutions that align with business objectives. Execute Research: Lead user research initiatives and leverage data insights to inform and validate design decisions, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs. Contribute to Design Systems: Create and maintain scalable design guidelines, integrating advanced prototyping and AI tools into the UX process. Qualifications Portfolio: Strong portfolio work demonstrating relevant experience, matching to key responsibilities and focus areas as outlined. Experience: Demonstrated experience (5‑8+ years) in leading UX strategy and managing complex design projects, with a proven track record of delivering successful user experiences. Design Leadership:
Proven ability to lead, inspire and mentor designers on craft and methodology, fostering a high‑performance culture. UCD Expertise: Extensive experience in user‑centered design methodologies, with deep knowledge of UX principles, information architecture and interaction design. Strategic Vision: Ability to define and articulate a compelling design vision that aligns with business goals and market opportunities, translating objectives into tangible design outcomes and roadmaps. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Exceptional ability to partner effectively with engineering, product management, research and marketing teams. Usability & Accessibility: Commitment to the highest standards of usability, accessibility and inclusive design. Preferred Qualifications AI Experience: 2+ years of experience with AI‑powered products, intelligent agents or complex software platforms, and understanding their unique design challenges. Agile: Experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams. Tools: Mastery of the latest design tools (eg. Figma and Miro). Change Management: Experience guiding teams through organizational or technological change. Global Products: Experience designing for international or multilingual products. Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing and aligning diverse stakeholder groups. Salary Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
