OverviewReporting to the Director of Solutions Architecture, within our Products & Technology organization, the Senior Conversational AI Solution Architect will provide the opportunity to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and design technology solutions for the growing digital market. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other intellectual property-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models with a primary focus on Conversational AI (voice + chat). Through the process of designing new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within PwC, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate recent revenue.The OpportunityAs a Senior Conversational AI Solution Architect at the Senior Manager level, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that’ll elevate your career. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:Solution the development of AI projects executed by Development teamsProvide technical guidance regarding tools, frameworks, and platforms specifically for conversational AI and real-time voice experiencesDesign and optimize Azure application and infrastructure architectures to support scalable, secure, low-latency conversational systemsLead the development and deployment of AI solutions, with emphasis on voice-enabled conversational agents and enterprise integrationsArchitect real-time voice conversation experiences, including streaming audio pipelines, turn-taking, interruption/barge-in, and session lifecycle managementDefine architecture patterns for conversation orchestration, tool integrations, and knowledge grounding to support task completion and accurate responsesBe actively involved in business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new/existing clientsSupport the Enterprise Architecture processesShape and deliver digital products to meet clients' expectationsAssist Enterprise Architects in assessing technology solutions and participate in business development activitiesSupervise and support Vendor’s developersExecute periodical code reviewsWhat You’ll BringYour skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here’s what we look for:Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or EngineeringAzure (Solutions Architect or Developer)



and Microsoft Development Certifications preferredHave worked extensively in large scale software solution implementations with hands-on experienceKnowledge and expertise regarding solutioning AI initiativesProficiency in Azure services and tools like Azure DevOpsExposure to working with leading Azure AI technologies like Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Speech (including voice-enabled solution patterns)Agent orchestration, tool/function calling, workflow design, and resilient fallback patternsKnowledge grounding (RAG), enterprise search/indexing, evaluation and quality measurementConversational AI (Voice) stack expertise across Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Speech (WebSocket event model, turn detection, audio enhancement, session controls), including real-time speech/audio.Real-time voice fundamentals in low-latency async/event-driven architectures (WebSockets/WebRTC) and telephony/voice channel integrationAI development frameworks and their deployment on AzureBuilding scalable AI assets that can be utilized through low / no-code platforms such as Copilot StudioService-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architectures and knowledge regarding AI technologies is highly desirableThis role does not require professional engineering licensure and is not classified as a formal engineering position under provincial regulatory definitions. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
