IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.ABOUT THE POSITIONEnterprise Portfolio AdvisorJob Req:1058Location:St. Albert - CorriveauDivision/Branch:Information Technology/Enterprise Architecture and SecurityClassification:Systems Analyst 4Status:Permanent - FTSalary:$86,011.41 - $113,924.75Reports to:Tiwa IghomuayeClosing Date:Open until filledJOB SUMMARYAGLC is looking for an analytical, tech‑savvy project professional who can turn data into insights, improve processes, and support enterprise‑level decision‑making. If you enjoy leading end‑to‑end projects, working with project management tools, and helping organizations deliver smarter, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact.As an Enterprise Portfolio Advisor, you’ll support how AGLC plans, prioritizes, and delivers its corporate and IT initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Senior Manager, Enterprise Portfolio to strengthen portfolio practices, enhance reporting,



and ensure initiatives stay aligned to strategic objectives.WHAT YOU’LL DOAnalyze project and portfolio data and translate it into clear, actionable insights.Lead improvements to portfolio governance practices, templates, and standards.Prepare and deliver monthly portfolio reporting and executive‑level summaries.Support benefits, financial, and risk management activities across the portfolio.Administer and enhance AGLC’s project and portfolio management (PPM) tool, including configuration, user support, and training materials.Contribute to project intake, prioritization, and resource planning processes.Lead or support process improvements that enhance delivery and organizational agility.SKILLS & ABILITIESA degree in computer science, project management, business, or a related field.4+ years of experience leading full cycle projects.Solid data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).Experience with project management or portfolio management software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior audiences.Assets include:Experience with Portfolio or Program Management practicesExperience developing governance frameworks or standardsCertifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MoP, or PfMP.NOTETo be eligible to work for AGLC, you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or eligible to work in Canada.While we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted.As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory security clearance and clean drivers abstract (if necessary) prior to employment.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
