Join CMHA-WECB as a Support Worker focused on landlord engagement, providing vital assistance to individuals facing homelessness due to serious mental health conditions. This role offers part time flexibility while aiding housing placements.
Under the supervision of the Manager of Housing Services, you will facilitate administrative support within supportive housing programs. You will manage landlord negotiations to secure affordable housing options and handle a diverse caseload of clients, ensuring effective communication and support throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement supportive housing access for clients
• Track client communications and support inquiries
• Record interventions in agency documentation




• Engage with landlords to retain market-rate units
• Administer financial aspects related to housing
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in a relevant post-secondary program
• At least 1 year working with individuals facing mental health challenges
• Familiarity with mental health and tenancy legislation
• Strong negotiation and community resource knowledge
• Ontario Driver’s License with reliable vehicle access
Contribute to transformative housing solutions and partner with CMHA-WECB to support client needs.
