This position requires three days in the office/week.Salary: 86,000-120,000 CAD /year (based on experience)Who You AreAnEIT or P.Engwith aBachelor of ScienceinElectrical Engineeringand a minimum of 4 years' experience; 3 of which must be acceptable and verifiable for the Engineering Board of your province.Relationship-focused: Experience developing long-lasting relationships with clients to assist them in solving complex engineering challenges. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team while applying engineering skills from analysis and design through to construction. The successful candidate will also possess strong oral and written communication skills, must be self-motivated and growth oriented.Knowledgeable: The successful candidate will have a base in hydroelectric design experience and preferably with wide area multi-plant SCADA systems, condition monitoring, or Battery Energy Storage System design experience as well. Hydroelectric design, consulting experience, or construction support while beneficial is not necessary. Candidates with powerhouse design or pulp and paper design experience will be given consideration.Additional RequirementsMust possess permanent authorization to work in Canada.Must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license.About the PositionKleinschmidt electrical engineers design hydropower plant modernizations, fish passage automation, and GSU substations.
