Job Overview
Habermehl Contracting Limited is seeking an experienced Site Coordinator to join our growing team. We specialize in residential and commercial renovations throughout Nova Scotia and are looking for a construction qualified who can lead projects on site, coordinate trades, communicate with clients, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day construction activities on multiple projects.
- Lead and support site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are completed according to plans, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections for quality, safety, and progress.
- Maintain communication with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor schedules.
- Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation using BuilderTrend.
- Assist with change orders, project reporting, and job cost control.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and provincial regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

- Minimum 5 years of Canadian construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices.
- Experience coordinating trades, suppliers, and construction schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.




- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

- Experience with BuilderTrend or similar construction management software.
- Supervisor Training Certification.
- Occupational Health & Safety training.
- First Aid Certification.
- Construction-related diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience.
