Breakfast Cook & Lunch Garde MangerThe Role

Carlino is looking for an experienced cook to join our daytime kitchen team, working breakfast service followed by lunch garde manger.

This is a hands-on position in a luxury hotel environment where timing matters, details count, and every plate should leave the kitchen with care. We’re looking for someone who knows their craft, enjoys the rhythm of morning service, and takes pride in a clean, organized station.

You’ll join an established team and should arrive with the experience and confidence to contribute from day one. This is not an entry-level or training position.

What You’ll Do

- Execute a fast, polished, and consistent breakfast service
- Prepare mise en place for à la carte dining and in-room dining
- Handle egg cookery and hot breakfast dishes with confidence
- Transition into lunch garde manger preparation and service
- Prepare fresh salads, cold plates, garnishes, and other lunch items
- Keep your station clean, organized, stocked, and service-ready
- Support daily prep planning, ordering, and station readiness
- Communicate clearly and contribute to a calm, positive kitchen
- Deliver a clean and efficient handoff to the PM team

What You Bring

- Red Seal certification
- At least 10 years of qualified kitchen experience
- Proven hotel or high-volume breakfast experience
- Strong egg cookery, garde manger, timing, and service fundamentals
- The ability to work confidently and independently




- Excellent organization, consistency, and attention to detail
- Reliable work habits and genuine pride in your craft

Compensation

Starting at $23 per hour, based on experience, plus gratuities.
