Become a Boomtruck Operator at Discovery Silver and support underground mining operations. This role involves delivering supplies while operating essential utility equipment on a 7x7 schedule.
In this full time position, you will deliver materials and supplies to crews underground and operate water and fuel cassettes. Your safety and operational efficiency will enhance mining operations. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and safety training like fall arrest and lifting mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate boomtruck to deliver materials to mining crews
• Perform general housekeeping in storage and travel areas
• Transport water and fuel cassettes as needed
• Complete haul truck training as required
• Maintain safety practices in all work environments
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Underground Common Core certifications
• Minimum 12 months mining experience preferred
• Experience with heavy machinery is an asset
• Committed to workplace safety
