About the CompanyAgilus is hiring for a Senior Business Analyst (Guidewire) for an insurance client. As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will liaise between the team and business stakeholders for functionality enhancements and new developments. You will be a part of an exciting team responsible for translating concepts and requirements into client focused and effective system-based solutions. You will contribute to complex and diverse initiatives through formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a comprehensive understanding of the applicable business applications.About the RoleHybrid- 1 day a week on-site in Toronto/Mississauga.ResponsibilitiesFacilitating discussions with business partners to collect, document, and validate detailed analysis of business functions, rules and processes required for highly complex projects.Guiding the assessment and selection of technical design solutions, acting as intermediary between the team and the Business stakeholders.Performing detailed data analysis, data modeling, mapping and flow to support system functionality, integrations and conversations.Developing the user acceptance test plan, strategies and leading the overall testing activities for medium to large initiatives.Leading the continuous improvement of the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) practice through research, devising improvements, establishing more efficient processes,



and providing guidance to other team members.QualificationsYou have five or more years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.You have completed post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related discipline.Three or more years as a Business Analyst supporting Guidewire suite of products throughout the delivery life cycle/system development life cycle.You have in-depth knowledge on ensuring data accuracy and maintaining data integrity.You have prior experience with agile practices and an agile mindset.Required SkillsYou have experience with at least one of the Guidewire suite of products - PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.You have experience with JIRA, JIRA Service Desk and Confluence or similar tools.You have experience with data query tools and data dictionaries used in applications. Preferred SkillsYou have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.You have robust communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.A Guidewire certification within the latest 3 releases is required.
