SCOPE OF POSITIONThe Analyst will report directly to a Manager, Investment Finance, and be responsible for accounting and reporting functions for the private equity assets portfolio. The Analyst will deliver transaction support, analytics, and ensure accurate financial records. This contract position is a 12‑month term covering project work.Core ResponsibilitiesLiaise with the deal team, legal, tax, and OMERS corporate to support transaction execution, analytics, and other deliverables for the private equity investment portfolio.Analyze and provide performance return information (e.G., IRR, total return) for the full portfolio and by segments, and prepare management reports.Ensure proper accounting treatments in accordance with applicable agreements and accounting principles.Assist with identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives and efficiencies.Prepare entries to the General Ledger with appropriate analysis and supporting documentation.Maintain the book of record for external funds and external manager programs, including administration of capital calls, distributions, commitment tracking, review of GP expenses, and performance fees.Prepare monthly and year‑end working papers with analysis and documentation for annual financial reporting and audit, and liaise with auditors.Participate in review of audited financial statements and investor statements for annual diligence, identifying issues for review.Prepare inputs for quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for the assigned portfolio.Ensure quarterly valuations of all underlying assets/funds are updated accurately and timely.Collaborate with the valuation team to compile and supply information for quarterly valuation exercises.Prepare quarterly reports sent to third‑party investors.Produce quarterly and/or annual legal entity financial statements and audit working papers in accordance with accounting standards,



including tax kits.Prepare information for compliance reporting.Prepare cash flow forecasts and project funding requests per approvals.Participate in technical training and development opportunities.Contribute to the team as needed.To Succeed In This Role, You HavePost‑secondary degree in business, accounting, or finance.Experience in investment management, pension funds, or financial services (asset).Completion or enrollment in a Chartered Qualified Accountant designation (asset).Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced).Knowledge of eFront and PowerBI (asset).Ability to work independently and with a team, under pressure and with time‑sensitive deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detail, accuracy, completeness, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.And You DemonstrateA people‑first focus and desire to develop meaningful, positive relationships at all levels.A sense of urgency, optimism, and drive for excellence.A willingness to drive debate, speak candidly, and listen thoughtfully.A continuous‑improvement mindset.Benefits & CompensationThe expected salary range for this position is $72,000.00 – $108,000.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
