This position within the Recreation Division involves instructing classes for children and their caregivers at multiple locations. You'll be responsible for developing lesson outlines, leading activities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Strong interpersonal skills will be vital as you engage with participants and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach fundamental movement and sport skills to children
• Supervise and engage up to 18 participants per class
• Prepare equipment and maintain safety standards




• Communicate effectively with parents and participants
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent education
• At least three months of leading recreational programs
• Certification in sport instruction or early childhood programming
• Emergency First Aid and CPR-C certification mandatory
• Satisfactory Police Information Check (Vulnerable Sector)
