McManes Automotive is looking to add an Automotive Deal Clerk to their team at Country Hills Ford! The successful individual will be organized, self motivated, work well under pressure, take directions well, and have a robust computer background with programs such as Microsoft - preferably dealership software. Automotive accounting experience is an asset; however, we are willing to train the right individual with AP/AR experience in a dealership.

This position comes with a competitive salary and will be based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Process all New and Used vehicle sales
- Process all dealer trade and wholesale sales
- Process and reconcile commissions
- Account for funds that have been received from financial institutions




- Process all cheque requisitions relating to deals
- Review inventory schedules to ensure that internal RO and vendor invoices have been posted correctly
- Review and reconcile customer, wholesale, and finance AR schedules
- Review and reconcile F&I; product schedules
- Journal entries – DR & CR knowledge necessary
- Keep track of data in excel spreadsheets for management review
- Perform month end procedures

Qualifications

- Experience with dealership software preferred
- Experience working in accounting in an automotive industry will be an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook
- Able to perform account reconciliations
- Must work well in a team and have strong communication skills
