At Atlantic, your ideas matter, your growth is supported and your work makes a real impact.The OpportunityReporting to the Certification & Compliance Manager is responsible for coordinating sales, facility teams and related corporate functions to ensure Atlantic’s various certification standards are being met and prepared for periodic audits.Certification & Compliance Auditor plays a critical role in assuring commitment to several programs including quality, food safety, health & safety, environmental, ethical, etc. In addition, you will be tasked with our audit team to assist internal partners in an informational capacity so they can develop and implement strategies to meet requirements or improve.What You’ll DoUnderstand the company’s objectives and how they relate to facilities / departments so critical improvements can be identified and escalated as requiredBecome Internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relation to certification standards, regulations, and typical customer requirements as they pertain to paper and paper packaging in multiple industriesCollaborate with internal departments to develop, maintain and improve HACCP / HARPC plans in keeping with food safety certifications and related regulations.Ensure that processes needed for certification are established, implemented, and maintainedWork with audit team to develop internal audit scope and plans related to quality, food safety, environmental, Health & Safety, ethics and associated ESG programsCollaborate with internal owners to set certification expectations and maintain related controlsGuide, mentor,
