Step into a vital role as a Child Care and After School Supervisor at the YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick. Covering maternity leave, this position focuses on operational leadership and quality programming.
The maternity leave coverage of 12–18 months allows you to implement child-centered programs in line with Current Brunswick standards. You’ll coordinate day-to-day operations with a focus on effective program delivery and community collaboration, while supervising staff and fostering a nurturing space for children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to child care and program standards
• Coordinate daily operations and participant liaison
• Promote programs and enhance community engagement
• Oversee program record-keeping and reporting
• Supervise staff recruitment and management
Requirements:
• ECE Certificate or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years in Child Care or Youth programs
• Supervisory experience is a plus
• Flexibility in work hours, including multiple locations
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
