Veterinary Assistant/ Receptionist – Join Our Friendly North Vancouver Team!

What You’ll Do:

This will be a split position with shifts both in the back as a veterinary assistant and upfront in reception.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll:

- Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with all treatment and diagnostic duties including patient restraint, potentially preparing medications, preparing patients for surgery and preparing the surgical suite for surgery, etc.
- Cleaning and doing laundry within the clinic, restocking items.

As our front desk superstar, you’ll:

- Greet and support clients with warmth and professionalism
- Manage phones, emails, and patient scheduling using EzyVet
- Assist with prescription prep, patient restraint, and daily clinic flow

What You Bring:

- 1+ year experience in a veterinary setting or completion of a Veterinary Office Assistant program
- Great communication skills and a love for animals
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and some evenings

Full-time preferred, part time considered.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- working with animals: 1 year (preferred)
- dental or medical office: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Veterinary Office Assistant Diploma (preferred)
