Are you a skilled purchaser with experience in manufacturing and a talent for strategic sourcing? Join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies for our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify, price, and negotiate contracts for production supplies and raw materials.
- Order Management: Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure invoice accuracy.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels, assess supplier performance, and ensure the quality of materials.
- Supplier Relations: Source and negotiate the best rates and quality for new materials and supplies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure availability of stock and materials for production needs.
- Logistics Coordination: Schedule and manage inbound logistics and receiving operations.
Qualifications
- Education:
Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on sourcing raw materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Proven negotiation skills with a focus on cost and quality optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and a strategic approach to sourcing.
