The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a part time stipendiary appointment for the Winter 2027 term, to teach a 3000 or 4000-level elective Biochemistry course on the molecular biology of cancer. Applicants must provide a one-page course outline, with course prerequisites from Mount Allison’s course offerings in biology and biochemistry identified from the Academic Calendar (https://mta.ca/academic_calendar/26-27/Biology.html, https://mta.ca/academic_calendar/26-27/Biochemistry.html). The course is expected to be taught in person during the Winter 2027 semester. The successful candidate should have a completed PhD in Biochemistry or related field. Doctoral students are welcome to apply,



and prior teaching experience is preferred.

The anticipated enrollment in the course is approximately 30 students and involves 3-4 hours of scheduled office hours per week to assist students.
