While working with Track Carpentry, you will work with two experienced carpenters that will provide the knowledge and skill to pursue a career as a carpenter. After a probation period, the opportunity for an Apprenticeship will be available for the right candidate.
Job description
- He or she must assist the journeyman carpenter in all aspects for building, renovations and repairs
-He or she must be able to follow all safety and precautionary measures while operating power tools and other equipment.
- He or she must keeping the work area clean and well organized, and move and sort materials and tools.
- He or she must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to read blueprints. - He or she must have the ability to manage time, meet deadlines and efficiently execute all the tasks assigned by the carpenter.
- He or she must understand of all safety regulations and norms for working with carpentry tools.
- He or she must be a team player and have the ability of coordinating works with team members.
- He or she must be able to work independently with direction to complete tasks required.
- Completion of High School - Working at heights is an asset
We will train the selected candidate and further their career as a carpenter through the Apprenticeship Program.
