Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Manufacturing General Labourer for our client's fast-paced warehouse operation in Ajax, ON. This role is ideal for a reliable, safety-conscious individual who thrives in a production-driven environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
As a Material Sorter, you will play a key role in inspecting, sorting, and organizing incoming materials while ensuring quality standards and production targets are met.

- Pay Rate: $ 23.00/hour

- Location: Ajax, ON

- Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm

- Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

- Sort and separate mixed stacks of incoming materials delivered by forklift operators.

- Identify and categorize different material types into designated piles.

- Conduct quality inspections and separate damaged materials for further review.

- Inspect both sides of materials to ensure quality standards are met.

- Accurately record dates, times, quantities, and inspection details.

- Communicate effectively with forklift operators regarding material movement and transfers.

- Maintain an organized and efficient work area.

- Work safely while following all company policies and procedures.





- Support daily production and warehouse objectives while meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience in a rapid-paced environment.

- Minimum of 2 years of production-based work experience.

- Ability to sort materials accurately and efficiently while keeping pace with production demands.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damaged materials.

- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and customers.

- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Robust organizational and time management skills.

- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently when required.

- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check.

- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
