We are seeking a motivated and experienced AZ Driver interested or experienced in Car Hauling to join our agile transportation team. As a Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial heavy-duty truck and trailer combinations designed for vehicle transport, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload automobiles using appropriate equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer, identifying any mechanical issues or safety concerns before departure.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules efficiently.
- Perform vehicle inspections to insure all damages and defects are properly recorded.
Requirements
- Valid AZ (or equivalent) commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven three years experience in commercial driving.
- Ability to operate manual transmission cars.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair fundamentals for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues during routes.
- Physical ability to load/unload vehicles; capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and customer service.
