Mi’kmaw Nation seeks a dedicated principal responsible for overseeing all aspects of school leadership and administration. You will ensure a high-quality and inclusive learning environment embedded with Mi’kmaw traditions. Collaborating with community leaders will strengthen cultural learning opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead strategic and instructional initiatives at the education centre
- Ensure safe and efficient daily school operations
- Promote a respectful atmosphere for students and staff




- Support teaching staff in delivering high-quality education
- Foster the integration of Mi’kmaw language across curricula Requirements:
- Bachelor in Education required; Master's desirable
- Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification or eligibility
- 5+ years of teaching experience; leadership favored
- Robust understanding and proficiency in Mi’kmaw language
