The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.The missions are as follows:Lead the industrialization process and product manufacturability with the required robustness while respecting technical specifications as well as cost/quality/deadlines/SSE objectives.Oversee the realization, implementation of all production means, and their validation (PVI-PPAP)Manage the processes of modification and optimization of the manufacturing chainLead investment projects for industrial meansMain tasks and responsibilities:Facilitate the multidisciplinary team assigned to the industrialization project to meet the program requirements outlined during the industrialization mandate of the project following the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process.o Define the project scope, roles, and responsibilities of each member of the multidisciplinary teamo Ensure compliance with objectives (safety, quality, cost), planning to meet the deadlines of the industrialization projecto Coordinate, facilitate, and lead risk analyses (FMEAs)o Manage industrial milestones through risks and build industrial validationo Establish the action plan for validating product and/or process characteristics of the Industrial Validation Dossiero Utilize risk analysis and statistical methodso Establish a schedule and reporting tools and ensure reporting to operational managers and project clientsParticipate as needed in co-engineering and ensure Product/Process coherence by challenging the definition and range to be compatible with the Quality/Cost/Deadline objectives of the mandate (DEV and MAN processes)Lead the multidisciplinary team to implement an investment project for an industrial meansLet's talk about youRequirements:Bachelor's degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or materials engineering.1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineeringTechnical skills:Knowledge of manufacturing processes in aeronautics (machining, inspection, special processes, assembly)Knowledge of CAD software Catia V5, Smarteam, Delmia V6, and PDMMastery of methodological tools such as FMEAEconomic knowledge (investment profitability calculation, cost evaluation, target cost design)Knowledge of problem-solving tools (5P, 8D, …)Project managementTime and priority managementBehavioral skills:RigorAnalytical abilityReactivityAutonomyAbility to communicate clearly and conciselyExcellent communication, both oral and written, in French and English to interact with other Safran sites and partners.Ability to work in a team, negotiate with internal and external stakeholdersCustomer-orientedWe apply an equal employment access program and encourage women, Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities to apply.
