Resource Management Senior Associate (Assurance) Join EY to apply your expertise in resource deployment as a Resource Management Senior Associate (Assurance). In this role, you will support the Canada Assurance Resource Management Team by aligning staffing resources with client engagement needs across the London, Waterloo, and Ottawa offices. Key Responsibilities Meet with Partners, Senior Managers, and Managers regularly to discuss staffing requirements and understand engagement needs and deadlines, presenting recommendations. Maximize utilization by identifying imbalances, negotiating, and reallocating resources to address issues. Prioritize staffing decisions based on engagement risk, skills, timing, continuity, and geographic considerations. Match engagement needs with required skills, development opportunities, and risk, and discuss development needs with client‑serving professionals. Manage staffing conflicts with all relevant parties, providing alternative recommendations and escalating issues as appropriate. Communicate regularly with the RM team and/or engagement managers on staffing status. Conduct regular audits for accuracy and monitor unassigned resources, acting as point of contact for assignments. Assist with annual planning, including data input to the planning tool as directed by EM team leaders. Liaise with Learning, Campus, and HR as needed. Provide weekly reporting to line partners and market leaders, highlighting inconsistencies or concerns. Assist leadership with controls analysis on excessive hours and staffing progress documentation. Collaborate with peers across the Canadian Assurance RM team to share resources and best practices.
