DescriptionAWS Payments CORE is responsible for building and maintaining the shared backbone infrastructure supporting AWS Payments systems, Enabling a streamlined software development lifecycle, And ensuring a strong operational posture within the broader Payments orginization.Key job responsibilitiesBuilding and maintaining services integral to the AWS Payments Ecosystem.Identifying and developing processes, tools, automation, and software changes top development painpoints.Working in close collaboration with software development leadership and product management to shape the future roadmap.Partnering with software developers to establish strong operational readiness across teams.Leading change to develop simple, elegant solutions to complex operational, security, audit, or reliability challenges.Basic QualificationsExperience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.Experience programming with at least one up-to-date language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.Experience with Linux/Unix.Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience with distributed systems at scale.Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage,
