In this position, you will report to the Health and Safety Manager, actively coordinating health and safety activities across various sites. Your efforts will include creating policies, conducting regular inspections, and developing training programs tailored to employee needs. You will also investigate incidents, analyzing trends to enhance safety standards and uphold certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute health and safety programs
• Inspect workplaces to ensure safety compliance
• Analyze accidents and propose corrective measures
• Lead training sessions and safety workshops
• Facilitate H&S; committee operations
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in a health and safety role within construction
• CSO designation or relevant post-secondary education
• Ability to travel weekly within the region
• Familiarity with safety laws and regulations
• Solid leadership and mediation capabilities
