Working full-time, you will assist residents in overcoming challenges related to housing and personal development. You must exhibit robust advocacy, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention skills, fostering a supportive community. Engage with diverse individuals as you help them achieve greater independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tenant intakes and assess individual needs
• Create tailored service plans for residents
• Ensure basic and emergency needs are met
• Document staff interactions and maintain records
• Mentor volunteers and students on-site
Requirements:
• Community Social Service Diploma required
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License, where applicable
• OFA 1 First Aid Certificate needed
• Two years of related experience minimum
• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance
