In this role, you will facilitate transformation by working closely with our Falcon 2.0 build partnership to maximize the build efficiency, increase schedule predictability and identify unit cost efficiencies while driving sustainable & strong engagement with our partners.As a Field Construction Manager, you will be leading the end-to-end PureFibre Network Deployment program. You will focus on build efficiency, project implementation, quality standards, and safety needs. As a key member of the team you will collaborate with both a core program team and cross-functional teams.What you’ll doOversee multiple projects, with a focus on leading and coordinating TELUS' build partners involved in the construction of all TELUS outside plant infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Supervise the implementation of Outside Plant infrastructure projects across various communities in OntarioEnsure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements for timely completion of workloads in alignment with strategic objectivesCollaborate closely with internal and external teams to establish consistent operating processes within the construction disciplineSupport the long-term roadmap for the team and TELUS' build partners, aligning multiple work streams involved in the construction of TELUS access infrastructureSupport the build partner teams responsible for specific regions, projects, or product lines as neededSupport TELUS PMO in maintaining fiscal management of Operation Costs and operations within the Build Program for the regionEvaluate build partner quotes and provide recommendations based on cost, performance, and resource allocationSupport in managing various components such as scheduling, materials, revisions, approvals, compliance, costs, and reportingCultivate client-partner relationships to ensure mutual understanding of TELUS' expectationsEffectively communicate project details to stakeholdersQualificationsWhat you bringSolid Outside/Inside Plant Construction knowledgeStrong collaboration and influencing skills across the organization and up and down the hierarchyExcellent presentation skills to senior leadership teamAbility to prioritize in a dynamic changing environmentAbility to influence across all levels of the organizationFast learner with an entrepreneurial spiritYou have a Customers First passion with strong management/leadership skills and financial acumenYour history of maintaining a high level of performance under varying conditions and time constraints such as:Effective oral and written in presentation and persuasion skillsMust have positive and open communication skillsProven ability to analyze, monitor and manage a budgetAbility to work with internal and external team members to improve their performance through observing, assessing and sharing information about performance expectationsGreat-to-havesRelated degree/diploma or equivalent related experiencePrevious related management experience an assetBilingualism (English/French) is an assetSalary Range: $75,000-$113,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
