Role Description The Team Leader – Denial Management is a full time, on-site role based in Cochin, SK. This position oversees a team responsible for analyzing, tracking, and resolving claim denials to improve reimbursement and reduce outstanding accounts receivable. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing denial trends, assigning and monitoring workloads, guiding team members on complex cases, and ensuring adherence to payer guidelines and internal quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with billing, coding, and client support teams, preparing performance reports, driving process improvements, and supporting training initiatives for denial management practices. The Team Leader is expected to maintain high levels of accuracy, productivity,



and compliance while delivering timely resolution of denials for multiple specialties and clients.
Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of denial management processes, end-to-end revenue cycle management, and A/R recovery, with experience in multi-specialty healthcare billing.
- Proficiency in analyzing payer denials, interpreting EOBs/ERAs, and applying appropriate resolution strategies, including coordination with coding and clinical teams.
- Experience leading teams in a healthcare RCM or medical billing environment, including task allocation, performance monitoring, coaching, and quality assurance.
- Solid understanding of physician billing, insurance guidelines, and compliance standards, including familiarity with risk adjustment coding (HCC) and documentation requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external clients, with the ability to explain denial issues and resolutions clearly.
- Proficiency with medical billing software, practice management systems, and basic office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, reporting tools).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with a focus on accuracy and meeting turnaround times and productivity targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Business) or equivalent work experience in RCM and denial management.
