Your Opportunity Our Calgary office is looking for a Manager to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:

Review assurance and non‑assurance engagements for private or NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and firm policies are followed

Effectively plan, supervise and execute assurance and non‑assurance engagements

Prepare financial statements, conduct due diligence, and provide services related to capital raising and tax for assurance and non‑assurance clients

Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existing clients on an ongoing basis

Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO policy and using robust technical and accounting skills

Apply industry and business knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business

Experience & Education

Professional designation required (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA)

1+ years of management experience in an accounting and/or assurance role

Bilingual is an asset

In‑depth experience in relation to ASPE or ASNPO files

Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Act as a leader in the firm, continually focusing on employee engagement
