Temporary Full Time - this position follows the school based dental program - 10 Months of the School Year.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Registered and maintain registration and license annually with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistant Association.
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable about and confirm to the codes of professional conduct and professional practice standards and ethics.

Additional Skills and Abilities:

- Knowledge of the organization (strategic priorities, values, goals, services, and programs), health care and First Nations culture
- Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nations people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations culture.
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and technological platforms such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx and Clear Dent.
- Abilities and behaviours associated with the core competencies with an emphasis upon planning and organizing,



accountability and dependability, analytical and problem solving, interpersonal relationships, collaboration and teamwork, and leadership and learning.
- Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive information and documents exercising confidentiality, discretion, good judgement and exercising tact, courtesy, and diplomacy.
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance the changing needs of the organization.
- A successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license.
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Six Step Salary Range: $42,569.80 - $50,577.80
