We strive to build confidence and value from local or community‑based peddlers to the most prominent international companies by providing customized solutions that deliver on all metal recycling and process needs.Reporting to the Senior Director, Engineering and Maintenance, the Electrical Engineer will provide support across a variety of functional groups by providing creative solutions that assure adherence to best practice, sustained reliability and continuous improvement. They will perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical engineering codes. AD&DEmployees Referral ProgramTraining opportunitiesProfessional growth and advancement!Compensation Range:$85,000.00 – $100,000.00ResponsibilitiesReview and recommend improvements to electrical systems as part of our continuous improvement efforts.Spearheads continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of new equipment technologies and review of set processesTravel to our different facilities to review existing process and improvement initiatives.Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures with the overall goal of minimizing unexpected downtime.Oversee motors, MCC’s and Multilin in the company, work on motor optimization to improve their performance; Read and provide comments on PLC code, specifically RSLogix (Allen Bradley 5000), ladder logicInvestigates equipment failures and unexpected breakdowns, provides corrective actions to improve reliability and performance of electrical systems.Occasionally attend to electrical emergency situations which may occur outside regular working hoursConduct operational process analysis and/or equipment analysis to support problem resolutions and operational efficienciesPerforms administrative functions including but not limited to creating and/or revising electrical maintenance procedures, sourcing parts and/or services.Develop, implement and oversee electrical spare parts inventory, source parts as required; Works in coordination with Engineering Manager to prepare department budgets,



and or contracts for capital expenditures or servicesComplete project feasibility and cost benefit analysis for large capital projects over $1MKey member of project management / implementation teamManage the inspection and maintenance of high voltage systems across yardsPosition QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering3‑5 years working in an electrical engineer rolePreferred, P. Eng designationSkilled at reading and drawing single line diagramsExpertise in design and visualizations software such as AutoCADKnowledge of reading and writing PLC code to be able to troubleshoot and understand the flow of a systemUnderstanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standardsDeep knowledge of electrical equipment operationInspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standardsAble to problem solve and troubleshoot as the need arisesAbility to investigate existing equipment and operation status and determine improvement opportunities and operational efficienciesProven experience preparing and managing budgets and contractsLifting and moving of large objects or samples (Approx. 25 lbs)Able to provide guidance to team members about electrical safety, systems, and troubleshooting techniquesTriple M Metal LP is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we welcome diversity in the workplace.
