Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

Duration: 06+ Months Contract (Possible Extensions)

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Model: Hybrid (4 days/week onsite)

Job Description:

- Responsible for designing and maintaining efficient, reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions that align with business needs and technology strategy. Focuses on infrastructure architecture, cloud and data center solution design, governance, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design infrastructure solutions based on project non-functional requirements.
- Produce architecture artifacts, including Physical Infrastructure Diagrams and Visio models.
- Lead design discussions and obtain approvals through design governance processes.
- Collaborate with technology partners to support and validate infrastructure designs.
- Develop high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Design and recommend cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
- Ensure solutions meet governance, audit, security, and risk management requirements.




- Support multi-cloud placement and architecture strategies.

Required Technical Skills:

- Robust understanding of infrastructure architecture and system design.
- Ability to read and interpret system design and workflow diagrams.
- Expertise in high availability and disaster recovery design.
- Visio odelling and infrastructure documentation.
- Multi-cloud architecture and workload placement.
- Azure region and availability zone design.
- Network infrastructure knowledge, including LTM, Application Gateway, and TLS security.
- Governance, audit, and risk assessment experience.

Must-Have Skills:

- Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and on-premises infrastructure.
- Cloud and data center infrastructure design and solutioning.
- VMware Cloud.
- Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architecture.
- Infrastructure governance and security design.

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
