Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service at our retail location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment, assisting customers with their needs, and managing transactions efficiently. Bilingual skills and familiarity with retail sales or POS systems are a plus to enhance customer interactions and operational efficiency.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling vehicles, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Operate POS systems for cash handling, processing payments accurately, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fuel pumps, store area, and restrooms
- Restock merchandise and ensure shelves are organized and well-presented (merchandising)
- Conduct product demos or upselling of convenience items to increase sales opportunities
- Manage inventory levels and report shortages or issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and offering assistance with store products or services
- Follow phone etiquette when handling inquiries or customer requests over the phone
- Handle basic math calculations for transactions and sales reports efficiently




- Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times in accordance with company policies

Skills

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities (English and other languages) are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and sales documentation
- Qualified phone etiquette for handling inquiries courteously over the phone
- Upselling skills to promote products and increase sales revenue
- Multilingual capabilities to assist a diverse clientele effectively

Pay: $16.10-$18.10 per hour
