Local Edmonton based Architectural Millwork company is seeking a Assistant Production Manager. Applicants should possess sound knowledge of millwork for Commercial and Institutional projects, a minimum of 10 years experience on shop floor building/fabricating millwork and cabinets, experience leading other co-workers is a must. A keen understanding of processes, design and materials is a must. Operating and understanding all equipment in a cabinet shop environment is necessary. The ability to plan and organize multiple projects at any given time should be expected.

The company has a proved safety program of which the candidate will be expected to follow and participate within. The candidate must posses exceptional communication skills, patience and a good work ethic. Leading by example in a successful and busy shop is required.

In this role, the individual will be working closely with the Production Manager.



Along with the engineering and project management teams.

Preference will be given to applicants with proven leadership qualities and wood working skills.

Candidates must have previous experience in a leadership role and must be a Red Seal Certified Cabinet Maker.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
