Make a difference with YMCA BC as a part-time School Age Leader. Support children ages 5-12 in an inclusive environment while leading engaging activities and ensuring safety.

This temporary role, scheduled Monday to Friday, involves creating an enriching before and after school program. You will actively participate in activity design, support children's unique needs, and help maintain a safe space for everyone. With a focus on wellness and confidence, this role is vital in fostering a nurturing community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver age-appropriate programs for children
- Create engaging indoor and outdoor activities
- Supervise and mentor staff and volunteers
- Build robust relationships with children and families
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

- Minimum 19 years of age
- Experience with children ages 5-12
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willing to obtain First Aid & CPR certification
- Willingness to complete required training
