Overview

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Asset: A Postgraduate diploma or professional certification in a related field is considered a strong asset.
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.

Responsibilities

- Direct and evaluate the operations of the accounting and financial departments to ensure organizational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and implement financial policies, internal control systems, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate the budget process, including financial planning, expenditure control, and detailed variance analysis.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and cost-benefit reports for presentation to senior management.
- Manage and mentor the financial team (3-4 people), including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.




- Monitor financial data and reporting systems to identify critical trends and recommend strategic improvements.
- Maintain financial records using manual and computerized systems to ensure audit readiness and accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

Experience and Specialization

Education & Assets: Postgraduate diploma or professional certification in a related field is an asset.

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, Xero, Quickbooks

Area of specialization:

- Management and organizational analysis
- Financial auditing and internal control
- Corporate governance and regulatory compliance
