The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a confident, client-focused lawyer who can independently manage family law files while delivering exceptional service during some of the most important moments in their clients' lives. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers, receive a consistent flow of quality files, and have the freedom to build a rewarding practice in a supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a broad range of family law matters from intake through resolution.
- Provide practical legal advice and strategic guidance to clients.
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, financial statements, separation agreements, consent orders, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in chambers, applications, mediations, judicial dispute resolution, and court proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients during contested matters.
- Maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service.




- Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal matters while managing your own files efficiently.

Qualifications

- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta, or eligible for admission through the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience practising family law in Canada.
- Experience independently managing family law files.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and legal drafting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Compassionate, professional, and committed to delivering outstanding client service.
