In the role of Parks Capital Manager, you report directly to the Director of Parks Maintenance and Forestry. You will lead the execution of park and recreation capital projects while preparing budgets to align with municipal strategies. Additionally, your role includes managing staff performance and overseeing inspection and maintenance programs within budget limits to meet service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct park and recreation capital project management
- Prepare and manage capital and operating budgets




- Align projects with City’s strategic initiatives
- Supervise staff performance and training programs
- Ensure maintenance programs conform to service level agreements

Requirements:

- Degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in park design
- Experience in a unionized workplace preferred
- 5-7 years of management experience
- Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
