SAP EWM Lead – Contract position

We are looking for a SAP EWM Lead to join our team, providing leadership on SAP EWM implementations. This role presents the opportunity to drive large-scale SAP projects, manage high-performing teams, and engage in client-facing roles to deliver innovative solutions. We seek an individual with strong experience in SAP EWM and supply chain management, with a passion for mentoring teams and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead multiple full-cycle SAP EWM implementations, acting as the EWM Lead (consulting-side).
- Architect SAP warehouse management solutions and run high-level design workshops.
- Oversee the hands-on build and test of solutions, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Manage large EWM/Logistics teams, including planning design, build, and test work, effort and timeline estimation, and day-to-day progress reporting.
- Ensure proficiency across all EWM areas, including outbound, inbound, internal warehouse processes, SAP TM, Advanced Production Integration, and integration with SD and MM modules.
- Lead integration with S4 plant configuration and warehouse structure design (Storage Types, Activity Areas, etc.).
- Stay up-to-date with SAP EWM and supply chain management trends.
- Lead proposal writing and deliver oral presentations to clients.
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines.

Skills & Attributes for Success:




- Strong experience leading SAP EWM implementations with hands-on expertise in outbound, inbound, and internal EWM warehouse processes.
- Proficient in SAP TM and Advanced Production Integration, integration with SD and MM modules.
- Expertise in warehouse structure design, S/4HANA, and S4 plant configuration.
- Strong written and verbal client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with architecting solutions, leading workshops, and executing solution builds and testing.
- Proficiency in managing large, diverse teams with detailed planning, effort estimation, and progress reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP EWM 2021 on S/4HANA preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with professionalism and ease.
- Forward-thinking, self-starting attitude, comfortable adapting to current challenges.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP EWM, including at least 2 full-cycle projects as an EWM lead (consulting-side).
- SAP EWM certification is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel to meet client needs (estimated at 30-40%).
