POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The welcoming Havre des Cantons residence in Magog is currently seeking a full-time Housekeeping Attendant for day shifts, Monday to Friday.

Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: $19.25 to $20.75/hour

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- At all times, respect safety rules, intervene or inform your manager if elements appear to contravene WHMIS standards.
- Carry out any other tasks related to his/her duties and at the request of his/her immediate superior.
- Clean residents' bathrooms and toilets
- Clear corridors and access doors of items that could be cumbersome and affect the safety of residents
- Ensure that the storage area for household products and the work cart are clean, protected and locked at all times
- Respond to emergencies such as:



overflowing toilet, slippery surfaces, soiled area, etc.
- Sweep and wash floors, dust furniture, window sills, mirrors or other areas where dust can accumulate

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- WHMIS training (an asset, provided on site if applicable)
- Knowledge of household products and their use
