Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our veterinary team. This vital role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting the smooth operation of our clinic. *Please note full flexibility is required and shifts may be 8:00am to midnight, including weekends. Rotating weekends with other staff, expect 2-3 weekends per month. Full-time availability preferred, however part-time may be considered for the appropriate candidate.

Duties

- Greet clients and their pets in a warm and professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently using our management system
- Answer phone calls, respond to client inquiries, and provide information about services
- Manage patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Process payments and handle billing procedures accurately
- Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed




- Assist with laboratory paperwork and sample processing when required
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a welcoming environment for clients and pets

Experience

- Prior experience in a veterinary or medical office is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and clients
- Proficiency with computer systems and appointment management software

Pay: $17.80-$21.00 per hour
